Please make sure you read and agree to the Terms & conditions before ordering your artwork.
This covers Returns as well as Damages and other information that may be important to you.
If you require a commission, please contact me by filling in the form on the Contact Me page , making sure you answer every question so I can give you a better idea of price.
If you are ordering via web and require postage delivery, please note that a deposit of 50% is required on the start of the Artwork, which will then be posted on the 'Works in progress' page (unless you request otherwise) so you can view the Artwork in production and should there be any queries or changes required at any point during the progress, you can let me know.
On completion, a proof copy of the work will be emailed to you for you to check over which will allow me to make any last minute changes should you require it, before I post out to you.
I will invoice you any outstanding balances due and post out upon clearance of payment.
Postage is not included in the price that I quote you, but I will include it in the final invoice. I do not add anything to the postage price quoted.

Damages
A minimum of 50% payment is required on commencement of the commission followed by the final 50% after approval of the final image which will be emailed to you. Any outstanding balances should be paid before the item is mailed out to you.
Each piece is subject to Postage and Packaging charges and covers any loss or damages in transit. Each item will be sent recorded delivery, with a tracking number for you to keep updated with the delivery progress.
Please make sure you check your item for damage BEFORE signing for the Goods as this may invalidate a claim should the item be found damaged after signing as undamaged goods received.
All items should be received within a week of posting (UK).
However, should there be any delays, please contact the delivery company giving the tracking number supplied in an email from Alison, in any correspondence.
Should you receive your item damaged in any way, please inform Alison and then contact the delivery company to file a claim for damages.
If the Artwork is unrepairable, Alison will replace the Artwork for a new piece at the same price.
Please note: loss or damages caused by the delivery company is the responsibility of the company itself and bears no representation on Alison Stafford, nor will she replace any Artworks at a reduced cost unless part of the fault lies with Alison Stafford.

Copyright
Alison Stafford retains the Copyright of all Artworks produced and may be reproduced by the Artist for advertising purposes.
Any photographs you wish Alison to work from must have permission from the photographer, before commencement of the Artwork. Should you choose any of Alison Staffords own photographs, the Copyright of the original photograph and Artwork remains with Alison Stafford and must not be reproduced for your own monetary gains, however Alison Stafford may choose to reproduce the Artwork as prints for sale.

I will complete the painting/sketch from photographic reference which you will need to provide. Please note that what makes a great photogrpah does not necessarily make a great painting so please think about what you would like to hang on your wall.
Photographs to be of good quality (300dpi) and no less than 1MB in size.
As I do not know the subject that I will be painting/sketching I will ask you for some details about them. For example, name, age, personality traits. It helps me to get into the 'zone' and hopefully will reflect in the final piece!
Please note that depending on my workload the painting will take anything from 1 week to 4 weeks. If you have a specific date in mind please let me know during our discussion and will endeavour to meet it.
If you would like to upgrade your voucher to a larger painting, or from a graphite drawing to a painting then please get in touch and I will advise the extra value that is due.

Refunds Policy

If you no longer require the artwork, after completion, then 70% of the agreed price will be retained by the artist for costs and time incurred. You will receive a 30% refund.
However, please note that all rights to the image remain with the artist and Alison Stafford has the right to sell the painting, or use it for advertising, or her own commercial use.
